Use the VNC console for recovery
Out-of-band console access for when SSH is unavailable — bootloader, recovery mode, network misconfigurations.

Every instance includes a built-in VNC console, accessible directly from the dashboard. The console connects below the OS layer, so it stays reachable even when SSH is down — perfect for recovering from a bad firewall change or fixing a broken bootloader.
Opening the console
- Open the instance detail page.
- Click Console in the action bar.
- A new browser tab opens with a live VNC view authenticated with a short-lived token.
Info
The console is read/write — anything you type goes to the VM. Treat the session like a physical KVM connection.
